About Me: After a long year, we have finally moved back to Fort Hood, Texas. My husband was deployed from Dec. '05 until Sept. '06, when he was injured in Baghdad. But because he is going to make a full recovery, he is staying on active-duty. We have a 2 year old son, and an energetic German shepherd. I am a journalism major, finishing up my bachelor's degree and working as a freelance writer for the Killeen Daily-Herald.
