High School
- School Name: Washington High School
- Status: Alumni
- Class of: 1981
- Attended: 1981 - 1981
- Sports: None. This was one of 3 high schools... I was a basketball manager - gloried water carrier and keeper of the stats. But I got into the games for free and got out of the house. Placed 4th in the Turkey trot race. Tried to do basketball but quit when I got hit in the face with the ball. Volleyball was my favorite sport but was never in a school where this was a team sport. Rats. I went to all of the football and basketball games with the pep squad. I did get accepted on the JV cheerleade
- Organizations: Drama club, imagine that!!! Lettered in drama, finally after a huge struggle won 3rd place in an event I had to argue and present a convincing case. Never did place with the humerous interpretation of Alexandria and the no good, very bad day. Also tried on the Dr. Suess story about a bird, Lola ley lou. FFA. Got a metal for great tomatos.
Style
- Where I shop: Walmart but they really don't have anything that flatters my hot body (if you know me you are laughing quite hard by now, if you don't know me you should be laughing, trust me... the only time my body is hot is when I am running a fever), Goodwill, Browse and buy and all the other places strictly forbidden on What not to Wear. Really, it is so bad that I don't even meet their criteria....sob, sob...
- Brands I love: I love a ton of brands made for "regular size" women. Just my size somehow doesn't quite make the fashion statment I have been looking for, you know...
- I like to wear: Dance clothes to worship the King in His glory and beauty. comfortable jeans, scrubs, beautiful dresses with lots of sparklies...T shirts that fit and make a statement.
- Can't live without: Tennis shoes.
- Prized Possessions: In clothes, yeah right.... Not attached to any of them really.
Travel
- Places I love: The shower after a tough day, the quietness of the lake on a still and misty morning, the fun of the beach when the kids are at play, my backyard-family-barbque-catching fireflies, sitting in my trusty chair watching my son play baseball, sitting at the pool watching my kids learn new dives... 4 am chats with the Lord in my livingroom. Midnight weepings in my pillow. Time spent in desparation at the alter. Walking with Jesus in the cool of the day. Sitting at the fire with my husband and talking about sweet nothings.

- Characters you relate to: None really. My life is much to real for television - life isn't settled in 43 minutes, my children respect me, I have never seen any of the characters on TV study their bible - dance in the Spirit or pray before they go shopping. If I could be any character on TV, I think I would like to be Grisom on CSI except for his lonliness.
