- About Me: I have had 3 kids and my oldest got married Nov. 18, 2006. Steve and I have been married 28 years. We are very active in our church. I am a deacon's wife, VBS director, church Treasurer, and general gopher. My son, Brandon and his wife, Rachael, are 26. My daughter, Bethany is 22, and my middle child, Rachel Elizabeth, has already been promoted to Heaven. She would be 24. I homeschooled both Brandon and Bethany all the way from pre-K through high school. I guess they've turned out ok. They are productive, intelligent people.

- Places I've been: Smoky Mountains! also Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Oklahoma, Missouri (and Texas of course, but I live here)
- Places to see before I die: Smoky Mountains for 3rd time; I'd also like to go back to Ft. Walton Beach, Florida and see how much it has changed since the last time we were there (1995)
- Dream Vacation: Rent a cabin for a week in the Smoky Mountains (do you detect a theme?)

- Favorite Genre: I like most Christian music and love patriotic songs; still like to hear some of the love songs that played when I was young

- Guilty Pleasure: Again....why must pleasure make me feel guilty?

- Favorite Junk Foods: Gardetto's Snack Mix (but I don't buy it very often for that very reason), Milky Way bars

More About Me
- Nicknames: When I was little, my mother called me Rockhead. I don't have a clue why ;-)
- Nationality: American Heinz 57 variety. Since genealogy is my hobby, I know that I am German, French, English, Welsh, Irish, Scottish, Danish, Jewish from several European countries(yes, a descendant of Abraham), African, American Indian, and possibly even a little Chinese.
- Religion: Christian - Southern Baptist
- Heroes: Those who are willing to give their lives so that others can live. That doesn't mean I want anybody to give their life - just that those are very unselfish people. And it doesn't have to be a physical life. You can give up your "life" - the things you might like to do - to work for God, so that others can come to know Him.
- Interests: Singing, genealogy, doing weddings, quilting, crocheting, my family and friends.
- Expertise: Embarrassing my kids (and their friends); taking in strays - both animal and human
