About Me

  • About Me: I hate when people insist that I "smile" when I'm merely wearing my habitual expression, which is closer to being "disinterested". I really AM a pretty happy guy, although folks do cheese me off fairly regularly. I have this little space here so I can vent, explore ideas, ask questions, and express my perpetual amazement that our species hasn't gone extinct (yet). I am somewhat political, though I demur from identifying myself as "liberal" or "conservative", "republican" or "democrat". I dislike the tripe we're fed by our leaders and our media, and my most virulent experssion of that dislike comes when I perceive that we're all just supposed to "go along" with something based on "faith". "Put not your faith in Princes".
