Jesus lived a perfect life as God incarnate in the flesh of man, as man. He was then crucified on the cross for our sins. He took our sins. We know longer bear the penalty of our sins. We can stand before the Holy and just God and Judgment day cleansed. Because of nothing that we have done, but because of his mercy in sending Christ to save us.
