- Favorite Cuisine: Lebanese, Italian, French
- Favorite Desserts: Easy to please: ice cream. Any kind, just about.
- Favorite Drinks: Wine drinker ... what can I say? I lived in France for long enough to be picky in that sense. Normally reds: strong, aromatic, dry, like the bottle of Chateauneuf du pape that I'm thinking about daily but that I won't open for several more years...
- Favorite Junk Foods: I miss having pizza, though I will make my own from time to time. Much healthier that way (well, as healthy as pizza can get, at least.)
- Best meal ever: any of the meals in Italy. My expanded ass can prove that.
- Favorite Restaurants: Jerusalem Cafe--a long time favorite local KC restaurant
- Foods I hate: As a rule of thumb, I don't eat anything that swims. I can't bring myself to eat foods that smell worse than week-old underwear.

Travel
- Places I love: Anywhere! I tend to favor places that are wide open... lots of trees, interesting smells, scenic views. I'm game for going to large cities as well though.
- Places I've been: Quite a few places in the US: Northern Cali (San Francisco up through Eureka), Colorado, South Dakota, Florida, New Hampshire, Boston, Seattle, Chicago, New Orleans, all states surrounding Missouri. Visited Dubai, UAE in 1995. Lived in Angers, France for a semester abroad and traveled a bit in France. Made a week-long trip around Germany and Denmark 11/2007. Made a 2 month long trip to multiple countries from 12/2007 to 2/2008 - Dublin, Ireland; Amsterdam, Netherlands; Geneva, Nyon, Bern, Switzerland; Budapest, Hungary; Vienna, Austria; Zagreb, Pula, Rijeka, Croatia; Venice, Sottomarino, Florence, Sienea, Rome, Compagne di Roma, Italy; and the last wonderful week in Paris. So, guess you could say I caught the travel bug.
- Places to see before I die: There aren't many places that I DON'T want to visit, but okay: in the US, I'm mainly interested in the natural beauty and am dying to see the Grand Canyon and national parks in Wyoming. Niagra Falls. Dying to see Peru and the ancient ruins at Machu Piccu. Thailand and other SE Asian countries seem like an interesting visit, though the cost of the flight alone will probably prevent me from going for a while...
- Dream Vacation: a desolate beach, living by campfire or tent. Anywhere that fits that description, as long as there is great company involved.

- Favorite Movies: Waking Life, City of God, The Last Samurai, Quatsi Trilogy, Dot the i, Pi, Requiem for a Dream, Memento, Amelie, Office Space, and oh, I don't know, Ghostbusters or something silly like that. I've seen too many movies (but still not enough)
- Favorite Actors: For looks: Christian Bale (except in the machinist where he lost 65 pounds for that role). Hubba. For acting abilities: well, there are a lot, but I think Charlize Theron is underrated. Keanu Reaves is extremely OVERrated.
- Favorite Directors: sigh. I'll finish this later.
- Favorite Soundtracks: Everything Hans Zimmer touches is amazing... Philip Glass has done many great soundtracks as well, though they are starting to blend together.
- Movie Quotes I say all the time: Sideways: "I'm not drinking any fucking Merlot!"
- Actor that would play me in a movie: A number of people seem to think i resemble Scarlet Johanson... and I don't know about that one, but I suppose I won't argue!
